Be cautious when a message:

  • asks you to approve an unexpected MFA request;
  • contains an unexpected invoice or attachment;
  • asks you to change banking information;
  • contains a link whose destination does not match the visible text;
  • comes from a look-alike domain;
  • requests confidential information;
  • uses unusual wording or context for the sender.
