Multi-factor authentication helps protect your account even if someone obtains your password.

If Microsoft Authenticator or another MFA method asks you to approve a login that you did not initiate:

  1. Do not approve the request.
  2. Deny the request if the application provides that option.
  3. Change your password if you suspect someone knows it.
  4. Contact your administrator or BIAS Support.
  5. Report any related suspicious email or message.

Repeated unexpected MFA prompts can indicate that someone is attempting to access your account.

Never approve a prompt simply to make repeated notifications stop.
