Check whether the issue affects one device
Ask whether other computers or phones on the same network can access the internet.
If many devices are affected, the problem may be with the local network or internet service.
Check Wi-Fi or Ethernet
For Wi-Fi:
- confirm Wi-Fi is enabled;
- confirm you are connected to the correct network;
- disconnect and reconnect.
For wired connections:
- confirm the Ethernet cable is connected;
- check for obvious cable damage;
- if using a dock, confirm the dock is connected.
Restart the computer
A normal restart can clear temporary network issues.
Do not restart business network equipment without authorization
Do not reboot firewalls, switches, servers or managed networking equipment unless instructed by BIAS.
If the issue continues
Submit a support request and indicate whether other users are affected.
