How to Clear a Windows Print Queue

Clear stuck print jobs when a printer will not process new documents.

Steps

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open Printers & scanners.
  3. Select the affected printer.
  4. Open the print queue.
  5. Cancel the stuck job.
  6. Wait for the queue to clear.
  7. Try printing again.

If the job will not clear, restart the computer and try again.

For shared business printers, contact BIAS Support if multiple users are affected.
