Set Up BIAS Hosted Email in Apple Mail on macOS

Configure your BIAS-hosted mailbox in Apple Mail using secure IMAP and SMTP settings.

Steps

  1. Open Mail.
  2. Select Add Account.
  3. Choose Other Mail Account.
  4. Enter your name, full email address and mailbox password.
  5. If automatic detection fails, enter the server information manually.
  6. Set the account type to IMAP.
  7. Enter the incoming server hostname shown in cPanel.
  8. Enter the outgoing SMTP hostname shown in cPanel.
  9. Use your full email address as the username.
  10. Confirm SSL/TLS is enabled.
  11. Save the account.
  12. Send and receive a test message.

Recommended secure ports

IMAP: 993
SMTP: 465 or 587
